What founders control
Startups are private by default. A founder appears in your deal flow only if they have chosen to be visible, and a founder who sends you a link chooses which sections that link shows. Nothing reaches you that a founder did not decide to share.
The reverse also holds. Deal flow is yours alone. Founders cannot see it, and what you read there is not reported back to them.

Where do the claims come from?
From the founder's own material and their recorded session. The read is built on what the founder said and uploaded, and it is presented as exactly that, so you can judge the source as well as the claim.
Can I contact a founder?
Yes. You can reach the founder directly from their profile.
Does the founder know I looked?
Not in deal flow. Founders have no access to deal flow at all, and what you read there is not shown to them. A link a founder sends you directly is different: that one tells them it was opened, the same as a DocSend link.
Can I stop receiving founder outreach?
