Check what you uploaded and whether a new analysis actually finished before comparing your old and new scores.
Before you re-upload, read this
We generally do not recommend re-uploading small changes and watching for small movements. The deck pre-screen is built to give you a general direction, not a detailed analysis, so minor edits usually will not move it.
For a detailed read, run the 30-minute AI Session. You narrate over your pitch deck, answer questions live in your own words, and the analysis takes in every document attached to your profile rather than the deck alone. That is where a meaningful change in your result comes from.
Why a score can stay the same
You added the wrong kind of file. Adding a new Pitch deck starts a new analysis. Adding a supporting document alone does not. Renaming a document does not either. Under Profile & Proof > SeedForge Profile, Upload new pitch deck is the one that triggers a run. It takes a PDF up to 50 MB.
The analysis has not finished. Open Feedback > SeedForge's Feedback and look for the processing message and the date shown with the result. A file can appear on your profile before its analysis completes, and while a new run is processing the previous completed result is still what you see.
The change was too small to show. Deck scores are rounded for display, so a small movement underneath can leave the number identical. Read the written findings next to the number rather than the number alone.
Why a score can change
The score reflects the latest completed analysis, which may come from a deck or from an AI Session. Session results are not rounded the way deck results are, so a session can move the number where a re-upload did not.
Use the written findings to see what actually changed in the read of your business. A movement in either direction is normal when the underlying material changed.
Note: If the page shows an analysis stuck in processing for more than a day, or a result that will not load at all, email support@seedforge.com with your startup name and the file name. That is a failure rather than a scoring question.
Quick answers
Will uploading supporting documents refresh my score?
Not on its own. Use Upload new pitch deck when you want the deck re-analyzed. Supporting documents are read during an AI Session.
Does a successful upload mean the analysis is finished?
No. Check the processing message and result date in Feedback > SeedForge's Feedback.
I tweaked three slides and nothing moved. Is that broken?
No, that is the pre-screen working as intended. It gives direction rather than fine-grained scoring. Run an AI Session if you want the detail.
Is profile completeness the same as my score?
No. Completeness tracks the information and steps you have finished. The score comes from analysis of the business.
Do people opening my shared link see my score?
The shared page hides the overall score and the numerical dimension scores. It still shows the written analysis in the sections you chose to share.
